"Dr. Chase? There's someone for you on the phone." A middle-aged woman picks up the phone in her office.
"Hello?"
"Yes, is this Dr. Nicole Chase?"
"Yes, this is she."
"We've been trying to reach you all day. Where have you been?"
"I've been busy with patients. What is it that you need?" (See I knew I put patients in my comment on purpose!!)
"Well, we would like to offer you a position at our hospital."
As the conversation continues, Niki can't help but relax as her dream of moving back to where she grew up finally starts to come true.
From the stage, Braxton looks around the club that he will be performing at tomorrow. Performing as Miss "Busty" Bouchet has never been hard for him, but for some reason, this time was different. This city was different.
"Braxton honey, I'm sorry I yelled at you earlier."
"Mom, it's okay. Managers have to get forceful with their performers every so often. Who's that man standing over there?"
Alvin hangs up the phone and notices Braxton talking about him. He wanders over to the woman and young man and introduces himself.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both. You must be the infamous 'Busty' Bouchet."
"Please, call me Braxton when I'm out of costume."
Braxton's mother becomes flustered at the sound of Alvin's voice. Never has she seen such a handsome frame in a man his age. Barely able to speak, "And I am Braxton's manager, Joyce Bouchet. Proud mother as well." After a brief conversation about the performance tomorrow night, Alvin rushes off explaining that he has a lunch meeting to attend.
Nervously, Alex walks up to the restaurant where she is meeting Kathryn and her father-in-law. As she walks in, she can't help but gasp. Never before has she eaten at such a fancy restaurant before, not even when her ex-fiancé proposed. Patiently waiting at the bar, she can't help but notice that she might be slightly under dressed. After a few minutes, Kathryn walks in with her father-in-law, "Hello Alex. This is my father-in-law Alvin Stone, the owner of Nelly." Alex nervously puts her hand out to meet the owner of the magazine that she writes for. Introductions and conversation continue as they sit down and enjoy a fine dining experience. Apologizing for his early departure, Alvin leaves the restaurant.
Back in Braxton's trailer, Joyce finishes some final paperwork for the next location of the Miss "Busty" Bouchet Tour. "Mom, this is strange. I've never had this feeling before. It's like I know something strange will happen tomorrow night during my performance." Comforting her son Joyce can't help but notice she is having the same feeling. Something different was going to happen at this performance that hasn't happened at any other.
Skyler walks into the hotel and towards the elevators. He thinks to himself, "Here goes nothing." Room 1145. He knocks on the door, and as it opens, a handsome-for-his-age man opens the door. "Skyler, I've been waiting for you."
