A middle-aged man looks around the new club. A woman walks up, "Mr. Stone, everything should be ready for tomorrow night. Your investment should turn out well." As the woman leaves, he thinks of the performer that has been booked for the grand opening of the club. "This Busty Bouchet better be all she is cracked up to be." His phone rings, "Jason, thanks for calling but there is no need to worry about either of us. Your mom and I are perfectly content with the divorce settlement." Hanging up the phone, Mr. Stone pauses then begins to dial another number.

Skyler stands up not bothering to pick up his towel. "Oh, hello Mrs. Crandall. How are you this morning?" Disgusted, she slams the door in his face. Skyler thinks, "One of these days that old bat is going to get sick of living here." Picking up his towel he hears the phone ring from his apartment. He quickly runs around the corner to his apartment to answer his phone. "Hello Skyler, this is Alvin, Alvin Stone. Do you remember speaking with me the other week?"
"Yeah, sure I do."
"Good, then might we have that meeting that we talked about?"
"What time were you thinking for today?"
"Say, 2:30? At the hotel on Third. Room 1145, one of the suites on that floor. I want you to be comfortable."
"I'll be there. You remember our agreement?"
"Absolutely. I will see you in a few hours."
Skyler hangs up the phone. He walks back into his bedroom to lay down and take a nap.

(Over the speaker phone:) "Ms. Stone? Ms. Stone. There's someone here to see you."
"Yes, please send her in."
Alexandra opens the door slowly into Kathryn Stone's office. The editor in chief of the magazine was a highly respected and feared woman amongst the journalist even though she was shockingly young for her position.
"Alexandra, I've been looking at your work. There could be some improvements, however, the content of your articles are amazing. May we talk more over lunch sometime?"
"Of, of course Ms. Stone."
"Okay then, later today at 12:30. My father-in-law will be joining us as he is the owner of this magazine. I would like to show him one of our best writers."
Blushing with flattery, Alex leaves the office. Someone calls her name from across the workplace. "Brayen, I have the most amazing news." She tells of her lunch later today with the editor. For the celebration after, Brayen decides they must go see Busty Bouchet at this new club opening. Excited, Brayen heads back to work, as Alex tries to calm herself about the lunch later.

A middle-aged white woman yells from a performer's trailer, "Braxton Thomas Bouchet, get back here right now!" as a twenty-something, light-skinned black effeminate man storms off. "I'm going to view the stage, mother!"
